Think / Pair / Share

Think - give pupils a task to do or question to answer individually, use mini whiteboard to write down ideas.
Pair - make a pair with person next to them, share, discuss and swap ideas, maybe get puils to rank order ideas.
Share ideas with another pair making a square.
Feedback from each square of four.
Pupils are able to develop their own ideas and gain other ideas through discussing and sharing with others.
The Think-Pair-Share method really emphasizes collaborative learning, encouraging students to articulate and refine their thoughts with peers.
